Eric’s passion is to reach students with the Gospel and help them to know God. Born and raised in Hawaii and in a culture filled with ethnic diversity, he has a heart for minority and international students. In a society where race and culture can be polarizing, he has found the need to become more intentional about going into “the world” via the ethnic communities of the university.

Eric and his wife, Arlene, often use their home as a meeting place for ministry and as a place where they can model both marriage and family life. They have served with Campus Crusade for Christ for 36 years and continue in a ministry of evangelism and discipleship with students at Humboldt State University. They reside in Arcata, Calif., and have five grown children who are adding an ever-growing slew of spouses and grandchildren to the clan.
