Since 2006, Craig has mentored college students and worked with the poor in Mexico City. Craig is the co-founder and director of Hope of the Poor. The mission field of Hope of the Poor is working with drug-addicted street kids, homeless families, and people who live in the city dump. The mission is to alleviate the poverty of being unloved, and inspire generations to bring love and hope to the hopeless.

Hope of the Poor missionaries share stories and songs inspired by the poor in churches, retreats, schools, and living room outreaches to inspire everyone to encounter Christ and to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Each year hundreds go on missions with Hope of the Poor to Mexico City to encounter and serve the poor. The poor bring us closer to Christ as they experience the love of Christ in us. Craig receives his support through Global Service Associates and directs funding given through hopeofthepoor.org to serve the poor.
